Delicious Dishes Recipe Party: Apple Dishes
It’s SO CLOSE TO FALL, you guys! I’m so excited. I love fall. Living in New England, I’ve been spoiled by the crisp air, beautiful fall foliage, the promise of cooler days and Indian Summer weeks… and I love it all. It’s definitely my favorite season. And apples. Apple picking. Apple baking. Apple cooking! Apple eating! ALL THE APPLES! I love it!
Plus, fall means a change from the summer meals we’ve eaten for a while and changing into cooler weather meals. I’m ready. I actually dusted off the slow cooker this morning for some sausage and peppers for dinner tonight and am looking forward to enjoying the aromas all day long.
Tomorrow, we’re making Rosemary Mustard Pork Chops. It’s a good week for eating in this house, let me tell you! Pork chops are best served with apple(sauce) but we like to change things up so we’ll likely do an apple crumble or something…
