Many expecting moms suffer from skin changes during pregnancy. I never experienced many problems with my previous pregnancies, but this time around I have acne and psoriasis. I had the opportunity to try out the Facial Scrub, Face and Body Cream, Nipple Gel and the Herbal Supplement for morning sickness. The Facial scrub has a nice, neutral scent and exfoliating beads that leave your skin feeling soft. I found that it does a great job of cleaning my face and removing makeup without over drying my skin. The Face and Body Cream is a nice, thick cream with a tea tree oil scent. I love that I can apply this cream to both my face and other dry areas of my body. The cream absorbed nicely into my skin and didn’t leave a greasy or oily feeling on my face.
While I really enjoyed the two facial products, I didn’t realize the full benefit for a few more days. My complexion actually started to clear up! I have been using the facial scrub and the cream for one week now and my acne is completely gone!
The nipple gel is a nice thick gel that absorbed nicely when tested on my hand, while leaving a protective barrier. This seems like a great product for nursing mothers. Particularly first time nursing mothers, when cracking and dryness are a common problem. I will definitely be keeping this product around to test later in the summer.
The Herbal Supplement for morning sickness was unfortunately sent to me after I had passed that part of my pregnancy. However, my sister happened to be deep in the throws of all day nausea when I received this product. She had even resorted to taking prescribed medication from her OB just to get through the work day. I sent these pills to her and she loved them! They relieved her nausea enough to help her function throughout the day and allow her to get off her prescribed medication.
