If you’ve ever had a child that suffers from eczema, dermatitis or sensitive skin then you know the importance of good bath and body products. I have found that this is no easy feat. We have been through countless bottles of “sensitive” and “gentle” baby cleansers, but most of them are still too drying and can aggravate rough dry patches of skin.

I had the opportunity to try several products from the Exederm baby line, including the cleansing baby bath, the hydrating baby lotion, non irritating baby shampoo, intensive baby moisturizer and the hydrocortisone creme. I found that my toddler’s sensitive skin reacted well to all of the products during a particularly bad flair up. I particularly liked the intensive baby moisturizer. I found that the thick creme was wonderful when applied after a bath. It soaked right in to make skin more supple and soft. The baby bath and shampoo were great as well. The shampoo would be particularly good for those babies that get itchy flaky skin on the scalp. And of course, hydrocortisone creme is always a must in our house. This creme worked well on particularly red, rough patches on the cheeks and face. Working with just one application.
The Exederm website is also very imformative. There is a wealth of information regarding skin problem, irritants, their product line and advice and tips. As a parent with a child who has sensitive skin, I found all of this information extremely useful. I have sensitive skin myself, and found their tips and advice very handy.
