Forget the kids, these delicious sweet and savory Maple Bacon Popcorn Balls are for the grownups (although the kids do love them too, I had to shoo the 3 year old away many times) I mean its real maple syrup.. and bacon… who doesn’t love that? And who doesn’t want to have a great popcorn ball recipe in the house??!
I a seriously having a rigorous debate with myself about whether these qualify as a breakfast item, I mean they have fiber right? And they have bacon, thats a breakfast food, maple syrup is breakfast-y, and I love to eat butter with my breakfast.. There I have pretty much successfully convinced myself that these popcorn balls can be enjoyed all day. Bring a batch of these into work and I guarantee you will be popular, at least for that day.

Allow it to cool enough to be handled, then butter your hands heavily and press firmly to create round balls of popcorn about baseball size.

I’ve had bacon + chocolate before, but combine it with popcorn, one of my favorite snacks? This sounds amazing and dangerously addicting, and I can’t wait to try it out! Stopping by from the Pin It Party, thanks for sharing.
