This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Florida Department of Citrus for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
It is so important to get you little ones started off on the right foot in the morning. Making sure they begin their day with good things that fuel their imaginations and energy is a priority. Citrus helps to support a healthy immune system so I try include it daily in one fashion or another. One reason why I feel it is so important to add 100% Florida Orange Juice to our menu is because it is naturally nutrient-rich and contains natural sugars. Lucky for me it happens to taste amazing as well! The Florida Department of Citrus has a new hero to share the benefits of 100% Florida Orange Juice- Captain Citrus ! This is a great tool to use to get your child excited about eating smarter! Use their kid friendly digital comic books and activities on the site to entertain your children. It is not always an easy task getting your child on board with better eating choices or in any other area of life. But when Captain Citrus is joined by the Avengers kids will sit up and listen.- I know mine did! They were delighted to find a choosemyplate.gov nutritional guideline, Captain Citrus fitness challenge, a crossword, and a word search besides the comic keeping them busy and engaged (they didn’t even realize they were learning about nutrition and how to make better choices). Here is my little guy enjoying our new recipe after reading the Captain Citrus comic. Captain Citrus is a fun new hero who can teach all kinds of lessons like making better choices, not judging a book by its cover, working together, and resilience. That’s not all he has to offer- Captain Citrus is running a Facebook contest as well. The prize package includes your child’s likeness and a voice over used in (1) episode of Avengers Assemble on Disney XD, a trip to LA with round-trip transportation for four, 3 days/ 2 night hotel stay, tour of Marvel Studios, a $250 gift card and much more! He wants to spread awareness on how 100% Florida Orange Juice is a smart component in nutritious eating, due to the Amazing 5 as well…
