Have you ever accidentally sent the wrong attachment in an email? Or sent an email to the wrong person, at the wrong time? Or realized after you hit send you had a typo, used the wrong name… or similar? Wished that removing email attachments after you sent was a possibility?
There’s a new service that’s recently launched called unSend.it which allows users to unsend or edit sent email & attachments (even after being opened by the recipient)! An additional benefit that I LOVE about this service is that they also offer open-notifications so users can see exactly when their email was opened/read by their recipient(s). That’s really helpful in my line of work because if my emails go unread or unopened for several days, I can resend or make a call and not wonder if emails went through.
This unSend.it service works with your existing email address! unSend it works with Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook, AppleMail and other major email clients. No need for a new email, since it works with your current emails. Removing email attachments after you send is possible no matter what email you use! Now, if you are using unSend.it to remove attachments or email message content, it won’t erase the email from existence. What it will do is remove the parts you are requesting to be removed, and then the email stays there.

I know of this type of service but not by this company. I wonder if this is easier for the modern consumer to use?

This is amazing! I have sent the wrong attachment a few times and hate having to send an apology follow up email.

They have the unsend feature in gmail for 30 seconds. I can’t even imagine if I could extend that longer how many mistakes I would avoid. Unsend.it sounds fab.

Oh this is brilliant! I have the same issues all the time! I hate when I notice the typo after I hit send! Or the wrong attachment on the email. It looks bad for business, so this would be so helpful!
