These chocolate covered crow cookies are fun to make. They are fun, simple, cute, and not super spooky! There’s just so many ways to have fun with your food- and playing with chocolate just makes it yummier. A few ingredients you can find almost anywhere, and a little imagination, and you can create just aboout anything with melted chocolate and candies!
Chocolate Covered Crow Cookies
Ingredients
18 Oreos or any chocolate sandwich cookie will do the trick
Black Wilton candy melts
Pastel candy corn
24 Candy eyes
You will also need-
Parchment paper
Microwave safe dish
Directions
1. Break apart 6 Oreos, scrape off white filling
2. Break your 12 cookies pieces in half
3. In a microwave safe bowl, melt your black candy melts on 50% power, for 3-4 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until melted
4. Using a spoon , dip your 12 cookies in the melted chocolate 1 at a time, then set on parchment paper
**work quick on the next few steps , as chocolate will harden quickly**
5. Place your broken cookie halves on each side of your chocolate covered Oreo, with the round side on top
6. Place 2 candy eyes on the chocolate covered cookies, right above the broken cookie wings
7. Now place a piece of yellow candy corn under the wings with the pointy end facing down
8. Your cute crows are complete and delicious!
