Pancake Day 2014 is Tuesday, March 4th. The last day of feasting before Lent begins on Ash Wednesday is referred to most often as Fat Tuesday but it is also known as Shrove Tuesday and celebrated as Pancake Day as well! It’s celebrated as Pancake Day due to the tradition of eating Pancakes on the day. The tradition comes from a time when foods considered rich were eaten the day before Lent and before fasting begins.
Celebrate Pancake Day 2014 with this amazing Applesauce Pancake recipe! It’s an easy homemade pancake that is fluffy and has a subtle but wonderful apple flavor.
