Yes, I hate my cabinets. They were thrown up when our house was built, not built well nor designed well. I hate them . We simply don’t feel like replacing them with new ones when our kids are so little is worth it, so I’m stuck with the uglies for a few more years. I just can’t stop dreaming of new, well designed, usable and functional cabinetry in my kitchen- and to fuel my fire I just ordered this FREE Insipration Guide from KraftMaid, because its free and a girl needs to dream, right?!
Maybe I can at least order a vanity soon for the upstairs bath. Maybe. So many projects, so little time. [ad#glam between posts]

I am in the same boat…I don’t like my kitchen cabinets either! I am thinking of a kitchen makeover this summer by repainting them! My cabinets are what I consider cheap cabinets & they are all white! I have been dreaming of a new kitchen since we moved in our house in 2005!!
My bathroom could have used a new vanity, but money just didn’t allow for it at this time! So I just finished my bathroom makeover! I painted the vanity cabinet & the wall cabinet, stripped all the wallpaper off the walls & just painted in there (I am not a wallpaper fan either!) We also had an old, ugly, plain mirror in there & I replaced it with a beautiful mirror from Kirkland’s! The mirror was originally 99.00 and was marked down to 69.99, then they had a huge July 4th sale & it was marked down to 49.99 & I had a 10.00 off a 50.00 purchase so my beautiful mirror was 39.99! Anyways, it made a world of difference painting in the bathroom & the only thing left to do is paint & cut my new trim & the bbathroom makeover will be DONE!

We just did an addition with (THANKFULLY!!) a new kitchen last year and got Kraftmaid – I love it! I mean, our old kitchen was h-o-r-r-i-b-l-e…faux wood cabinets, carpeting, tiny…you name it and it was bad!
