Copycat Starbucks Salted Caramel Frappuccino
We are all staying home a latte these days…In this time of isolation and uncertainty there’s still one thing that is for sure, people want their coffee!
More likely than not, they will neeeeed their morning boost to help them through these uncharted waters of homeschool, extra family time and virtual work situations. But social distancing doesn’t mean you have to miss out on your favorite treats.
This recipe allows you to sit back, relax and dream up your summer vacation from your own kitchen. So bust out your blender and get ready to enjoy the familiar and comforting flavors of Starbucks’ ever-loved salted caramel frappuccino!
This drink is quick and simple and can be adjusted to fit the palettes of all the family members in the house.
I found a salted caramel sauce by Ghiradelli that tasted great but you can use whatever you have on hand.
I also used whole milk and espresso but you can choose the milk of your liking and use strong brewed coffee if you don’t have an espresso maker!
Since the kids are probably right at your side…watching…waiting…asking for a taste of whatever you have….just blend up a batch sans coffee and give them their own dose of sweetness.
Copycat Starbucks Salted Caramel Frappuccino
Ingredients
- 2 shots of espresso or ⅓ cup strong brewed coffee
- ¾ cup cold Milk
- 4 tablespoons Salted caramel sauce (plain caramel sauce can be used in place with ½ tsp of sea salt added)
- 2 cups Ice
Instructions:
Pour all of your ingredients (minus whipped cream) into the blender adding the caramel last so it doesn’t stick to the bottom. Blend until smooth.
