We are almost done with the school year. Today and tomorrow, and we’re done! I only know a handful of schools that are going longer, but I’m happy we’re out. It seems like we are entirely too close to big summer fun time to be in school, but here we are. The kids are getting excited for Fourth of July this year, as a friend hosts a big party across the street from where fireworks are held, and it’s a favorite community gathering of friends, new and old, and family. EVERYONE brings a dish or three to share- and this year I’m determined to go with a main dish, a side and a dessert. But how do you choose from all the fun Patriotic dessert ideas out there? We’ve got a few of our faves… and here are some of your faves from us!
Fun Patriotic Dessert Ideas for Fourth of July
This one’s not a dessert, per say, but this patriotic mocktail sure is fun, and quite refreshing. My kids love to top it with a cherry because it’s fun and they can!
Maybe since we’re talking about cool, refreshing things, you’ll want to make some of these fun 4th of July pudding pops!
You can also make some homemade blue velvet brownies- top with vanilla ice cream and a cherry and voila! Perfect dessert!
