Welcome back to Delicious Dishes Recipe Party! We’re at week #147. We took a little break over the holidays since Christmas Day and New Year’s Day both fell on Tuesdays this year which is our party day. We didn’t want anyone to feel they had to stop enjoying the holiday to come join us by linking up recipes- and we took a little break to enjoy some time with our friends and family. My family likes to be home and in pajamas and doing games and puzzles and reading and being disconnected from the internet over the holidays! We actually took almost no photos of Christmas. My bad. We did do several hikes over the week and did photos from that!

I have a goal that I am halfway to. It’s a long way to go, but I’m really happy that even when I didn’t follow my program, I still made better choices- I feel like I’ve finally started to have healthier eating HABITS which I’ve struggled with my whole life. I shared a before and after photo of my journey with FASTer Way to Fat Loss on my Facebook page a few months ago if you want to take a peek. It’s not about the numbers for me…I want to be healthier so I can DO more and quite frankly, to be around a lot longer to annoy my husband and kids. Or not annoy them. I suppose that depends on the day. I just felt horrible physically and it was taking a toll on my outlook and needed a change. One thing I have noticed is that the family is happy to support my healthier eating- and I’ve gotten them eating even better too!
