Homemade versions of popular candies are almost always better than the “real” thing and this one is no exception. My husband adores Kit Kat bars. Maybe too much. Ok, ok. We all love them.
I love making my favorite candy bars at home, it’s the challenge of trying to recreate a favorite flavor minus some additives and preservatives. Like these copycat Kit Kat bars I made here- while the homemade version isn’t quite exactly like the packaged one, the texture is dead on- crisp, flaky, and the perfect amount of sweet and salty. If you love a Kit Kat bar you have to give these a try, include them on your Christmas cookie tray this year!
