How to Make Emoji Pencil Toppers

Here is what you will need and do to make your own emoji pencil toppers:

Supplies:

– pencils
– yellow pom poms
– black and red craft felt
– scissors
– hot glue, glue pen (yes, a hot glue pen. It’s amazing. Craft game changing!)

Directions:

These are so incredibly easy.

Begin by creating the face of your emoji. You will use the black and red craft felt to do this. Simply cut out a few heart eyes, some black smiles, and a small black pair of sunglasses from the felt.

Remember you can make any emoji face you wish using the felt. Once your shapes are cut out, use a dab of hot glue to glue them into place. Just a small dab will do. This is one of the things I love most about the glue pen- it’s much easier to do the smaller dabs of glue with the pen than a traditional glue gun!

Cute, right? Once the faces are dry, you can attach them to the ends of your pencil. Place a small dab of hot glue on the underside of each face. Press the pom pom to the top of the pencil and hold in place until each pom pom is secure.
