Get those Kids in The Kitchen with this simple AND delicious recipe. Only 4 ingredients make this Kid Friendly Overnight Oatmeal a snap! This one is a great one for filling those bellies before a busy day on the slopes, building snowmen, etc. or just playing outside after a snowfall! Who doesn’t love chocolate and marshmallow together in the wintertime? I know we all do!
Before the kids head out to a busy and energy burning day of sledding fuel them up with this overnight Hot Chocolate Oatmeal using TruMoo Limited Edition Chocolate Marshmallow flavor to give it the familiar and well loved taste of Hot Cocoa. This is a great way to get your kids to eat their oatmeal and give them a dose of calcium and vitamin D from the milk. It is also a perfectly simple recipe that is ideal to get the kids started in the kitchen, let them help you put it together the night before, they will get some experience measuring and mixing- a great starter recipe even for a toddler. Make ahead the night before for quick breakfast they will gobble up, can be eaten as is or heated up. It makes a great midday snack too for busy kids (and momma’s) on the go! I doubled the recipe in the photo shown here, We like to eat half in the morning and snack on the rest throughout the day. Thanks to Trumoo for making such fab flavors and for sponsoring today’s recipe post!

Absolutely love this recipe! I wish we had Trumoo here though…They literally don’t sell it anywhere in our state. I guess I could use regular chocolate milk instead?

This looks and sounds really good. It also looks really easy and I like how it is in a mug and ready to go in a jiffy. This is even lazy adult friendly 🙂
