We recently received some of the hot new Lite Sprites™ toys to check out. The kids were drawn instantly to the shape and design of the wand, and started asking questions before I could finish opening the packages. What is this mom, what will this button do? Can I have a turn? Why isn’t it just a stick shape? Why are there so many colors? OH MOM you need more batteries? Why batteries?
I’m not complaining- I love their curiosity- they are just like their dad and want to know the how and why of how things work- something THIS mama hasn’t ever paid much attention to (pre-parenting days, anyway). Between the wand and the adorable little Sprites with their neat shape and the whole color theme of this entire line of products, the kids couldn’t help but be enthralled. Kids are naturally curious, and the Lite Sprites feed right into that curiosity, letting them explore color and light in many different ways.
Lite Sprites™ live in Lite-topia, land of color and light, and there are 5 members of the Sprite Sisterhood:
Prisma – the leader
Astra – the keeper of the skies
Brooke – takes care of the water
Meadow – responsible for the plants, flowers and trees.
Bleak – the “naughty” Sprite that rejects color in Lite-Topia.
The Lite Wand is, hands down, the coveted toy in my house right now. I’d love to show a video but it will have to be just me, after the kids go to bed. World War 3 breaks out when the Lite Wand comes out. The kids think its so cool they can “steal” color from flat surfaces and run around everywhere just to see what colors they can grab. The wand has 2 built in games: Color Hunt and Color Mix. You can even interact with other Light Wands.
Each of the Sprites expresses feelings and mood by color and light. They each have a distinct and unique personality and have their own domain in Lite-topia. They are simple, fun-shaped characters that are easy for all ages to grasp and durable (trust me).
I think Lite Sprites may be one of the “*HOT* holiday toys this year. If you think your little one may enjoy them, I’d shop now. I just hope they come out with some more playsets!! I know Santa will be bringing a few Lite Sprites to add to our collection for sure!
In the meantime, check out the YouTube channel for Lite Sprites so you can get to know the Sprite Sisterhood too!
I received samples of this product to facilitate my review. Opinions are my own.
