The first thing that you need to think about when it comes to your career is what you really enjoy. What can you actually see yourself being happy doing every single day for years to come? It’s not just a matter of finding something that you like, it’s a matter of finding a career that you can find satisfaction and fulfillment in no matter how difficult things might get.

What are you good at?
As nice as it would be to be able to just say “follow your dreams” and leave it at that, that’s not really the way the world works. If you want to find a career where you can really succeed, you need to have the skills to match your passion. Think about what you’re actually good at. Are you a people person? Or perhaps you’re someone who is more at home with hard statistics? These kinds of things are going to massively impact which jobs you can do and which jobs will bring you the highest levels of satisfaction and fulfillment.
Where is the demand?
Of course, if you want to find a better career, those careers have to actually be out there for you to find. You need to think about where the demand is. In the modern world, certain areas are far more in demand than others.
