Part cookie, part bar. This M&M cookie bar is a tasty Christmas treat for an after school snack, or to add to your holiday baking for sharing. While they are delicious for a year round treat using holiday M&Ms makes for a festive, seasonal dessert. They are perfect with a big glass of milk and hit the spot when paired with a hot mug of coffee.
M&M Holiday Cookie Bars
Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white granulated
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. Vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1-12 oz. bag plain m&m’s
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325
Line a 9×13 inch pan with parchment paper so that it hangs over the sides slightly.
Cream butter and sugars until smooth.
Add eggs and vanilla to combine.
Mix flour, salt and baking soda into wet ingredients until

Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake for 24-28 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from oven and allow to cool.
Lift from pan with parchment paper and cut into bars.
