>We’ve been checking out 2 apps from Night & Day Studios for the past few weeks on my iTouch.
Quibble Kids– My 5 year old has officially been hogging my iTouch for a few weeks because of this Picture Match puzzle game. She loves figuring out which things belong and don’t and making the matches. (She also wants me to tell you she really likes that you can pause the game!)
You see 4 faces of a cube on your screen. You need to spin the cube so that all 4 faces have like pictures- my three year old is doing one with different tables, for example. Once all 4 tables are showing, the cube fronts move together and shade dark, and then move apart again, so that you can solve another face of the puzzle. Its a cute game!
You can also get more of the puzzles from the app store- including Math Jr. which I did go ahead and purchase because my 5 year old was enjoying it so much!
Quibble Kids features:
•50 puzzle sets with over 200 images for the original picture match game
•Intuitive interface for young kids to easily master
•Fun music for each puzzle
•Score keeping to chart your child’s progress
•Access to additional puzzle packs for kids between the ages 2 and 12
•Each additional puzzle pack is available for only 99 cents
KinderMusik Radio is almost like Pandora radio for kids- right on the iTouch/iPhone. Almost, but you can also interact by playing different instruments with the songs, and each song has activity suggestions you can do with your little one. My kids love love love to play the Guiro. This particular app might be my all time favorite from the app store- we’ve had a lot of doctor appointments in the past month and that means a lot of waiting around without stuff to do- this has been a lifesaver for me and fun for the kids!
There are 5 categories- Bounces & Rhymes, Animals, Animals, Get Up & Move, Mostly Lullabies and Tell Me a Story.
I received samples of this product to facilitate my review from Night & Day Studios through my affiliation with the Family Review Network. Opinions expressed within are my own.
