I’m writing this post about nutrition support for kids because I’m a PediaSure sponsored blog partner.
We all want what’s best for our kids. I have yet to meet a parent who doesn’t. I can safely say that just about every parent I’ve come across in my life has wanted to offer their kids advantages in life- not material advantages, nor monetary advantage, but physical, emotional, and mental advantages. When our kids struggle, we try to help them overcome their obstacles. When they do come out victorious, no matter how big or small, we celebrate those moments with them. But what do we do when it’s their nutrition that’s hanging in the balance? What about when our kids need nutrition support?
PediaSure is the kind of enrichment children need to succeed every single day in their world. It Optimal blend of essential nutrients: a unique (patented) combination of proteins, carbohydrates and lipids that allows for enhanced digestion and metabolization of essential vitamins and minerals complete and balanced nutrition. It promotes ongoing growth and development during a critical time of life, which is the first 12 years.
My kids are all where they “need” to be in terms of weight. When my daughter stopped eating meat early this year, we were concerned about her keeping UP her growth and weight, largely because we’re not vegetarians, and haven’t ever lived as such. We sought out advice from family and friends, as well as her pediatrician, for meal suggestions and general advice. She’s held steady, and doing well so far.
There are kids in my little town who are not where they should be in terms of their weight. For some, it’s due to illness, for others, they simply seem to be unable to gain weight. We have kids in our extended family circles who are also unable to gain weight, regardless of what they eat, and it’s quite frustrating for their parents to try to feed their kids a balanced, healthy diet and still not see results. Several of their parents have talked with me about using PediaSure to help their kids to gain weight.
For parents’ peace of mind and their kids’ growing bodies’ needs, PediaSure Shakes (which come in several kid-friendly flavors like Berry, Strawberry, Chocolate, Banana, and Vanilla) are clinically proven for weight gain for children ages 1 to 12. Kids do most of their growing and development before they are 12 and their growing bodies need certain things. The shakes include 25 essential vitamins and minerals, including DHA Omega-3 for brain and eye health and antioxidants to support the immune system. There are formulas for tube feeding, higher and lower calorie shakes for different needs, and other formulas to help give your child the nutritional support they need.

I’m glad that I read this and other posts about PediaSure as I didn’t realize how beneficial it could be for a wide range of kids. This is what I love about blogging.

We just love PediaSure and it was recommended by my toddler’s pediatrician when my toddler wasn’t eating. Now we always have it on hand.

I was wanting to use this for my daughter when she was being such a picky eater – but it was just so expensive for us, that we never bought it.

We are going to start buying this for Jack. He has a nutritionist come out once a month and we need to get more calories in him.

I think it’s fantastic that PediaSure has nutrients and DHA. PediaSure was actually recommended from my nephew’s pediatrician becasue of weight issues he was having. He loved drinking it!

It’s smart that they made it look like chocolate milk. That’s the only way I’d get my daughter to drink it!

Been reading really great things about PediaSure. Think I’m going to try it for my kids .

I give this to one of my children, because he hates drinking milk mainly, and he hates chewing his vitamin. I even drink them from time to time. It’s full of so many great things.

My son was super skinny as a toddler. Pediasure was a great way to ensure he got his vitamins and nutrients

My niece is on medication that keeps her thin. Maybe she could benefit from PediaSure.

I have heard of Pediasure before but have never given it to the kids when they were little.

PediaSure is great. Kids need extra nutrition when they’re growing, and it’s hard to get the foods that they need into them. This is a perfect solution.

We have super tall and skinny girls in our family. My sister used PediaSure to help her daughter gain some weight. I’m thinking of trying it for my girls too! They love the chocolate flavor.
