PAC-MAN and The Ghostly Adventures

This Sunday we took a drive down to New York City to see the Nintendo World Store.  We were invited to the launch event for the video game PAC-MAN and The Ghostly Adventures.  The event was fun for adults and kids and we left with an awesome swag bag that included a copy of PAC-MAN and The Ghostly Adventures.

PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures is a 1-4 player game available for Xbox 360®, PlayStation®3, Wii U™,PC DIGITAL, and Nintendo 3DS™.  PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures is an action/adventure game from NAMCO BANDAI Games America, Inc. and rated E 10+.

Pac is back in an all-new experience for a whole new generation of fans. PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures game has an
original story that is inspired by the show as well as all the charming characters from the highly anticipated PAC-MAN and the
Ghostly Adventures animated series created and produced by Avi Arad, acclaimed director and founder of Marvel Studios.
The story begins as the menacing ghosts escape from the creepy Netherworld to invade PacWorld. These frightening ghosts,
ghouls, and goblins wreak havoc on the population and cause nothing but trouble wherever they go! Pac and his pals rise to the
challenge of protecting their home and embark on an epic battle.
Pac and his 2 best friends, Spiral and Cylindria, rise to the challenge of protecting their home, in a big, bustling, bonkers world of
action, adventure, and just plain wackiness. All the while fighting for: Friendship, Freedom and the Future!

 

My husband, son and I all tried out the game.  It is fun and updated but sticks closely enough to it original game so that the 80’s child in me could really appreciate it.  At the event we also enjoyed some PAC-MAN cookies with drinks from Brooklyn Soda Works.  It was a great event that showcased the fun new game and it also gave us a reason to spend the day in NYC!!

If you are in NYC, stop by the Nintendo World Store at 10 Rockefeller Plaza.  The staff were super friendly and enthusiastic.  They have great gifts for the gamer on your list and a really cool Nintendo museum.

 

 

PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures can be purchased online and in stores, it is currently retailing for $39.99.
