Holidays can mean fun parties, family gatherings, and sometimes, a cocktail is a fun way to celebrate (please drink responsibly)! We love peppermint for holiday time and making a Peppermint Martini just seemed like a fun idea. You can also call it a Candy Cane Martini. Whatever your preference!
Peppermint Martini –
Ingredients
1 ½ oz vanilla vodka
1 oz peppermint schnapps
1 ½ oz crème de cacao
Crushed peppermint for garnish around the rim of your martini glasses and a few peppermints candies to add to the actual drink
Handful of ice
Directions –
#1. Add the handful of ice and liquor to a shaker and shake well for about 30 seconds making the drink ice cold.
#2. Wet the rim of the martini glass and dip into the crushed peppermint candies.
#3. Add a peppermint candy to the martini glass and pour the drink in.
Serve immediately. Makes 1 serving
