One thing about sticky buns? They make a sticky mess. The counters, the dishes…the fingers…it’s all part of the sticky bun experience, but it’s definitely something that leaves a M E S S. This semi-homemade sticky buns recipe is sponsored by Best Buy.
Sticky messes make me crazy, especially when my kids overload the dishwasher and not everything inside gets clean. Overloaded dishwashers seldom clean well, at least in my house. The new Bosch 800 Series dishwasher delivers a sparkling clean and dry with advanced PrecisionWash technology and patented CrystalDry technology. With PrecisionWash, intelligent sensors continually scan and check the progress of dishes throughout the cycle, and powerful spray arms target every item of every load, for the ultimate clean.
I want this dishwasher. I need it. It’s W I D E and not just for size. At 24″ wide, this dishwasher holds up to 16 place settings and there are 6 wash cycles to choose from. There’s a flexible third rack with adjustable tines that can create the right fit for deep, tall, or uniquely-shaped items. Or just to keep your measuring cups and spoons from flying around the interior of your dishwasher like mine do.
Plus, patented CrystalDry™ technology delivers 60% better drying results.*
*Based on aggregate average drying performance of Bosch Dishwashers with CrystalDry on combined household load including plastics, glass, steel, and porcelain as compared to Bosch Dishwashers with PureDry. Drying performance may vary by dish type.
Semi Homemade Sticky Buns
Ingredients
Biscuits:
1 can Pillsbury Grands Flaky Layer Butter Tastin biscuits
3 tbsp unsalted butter – melted
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Topping:
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1 tbsp maple syrup
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1/2 chopped pecans
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 9 or 10 inch cake pan or pie pan with a non-stick spray.
In one small bowl, melt the 3tbsp of butter from the biscuit ingredients. In another small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon.
Separate the biscuits. Dip each biscuit into the butter, coating all sides.
Then, dip each biscuit into the cinnamon sugar, coating all sides. Arrange the biscuits into your pan, squishing them close together.
When you get to the last biscuit or two, and run out of room in the pan, cut the biscuit into quarters; dip and coat the quarters and tuck them into the empty spaces in the pan.
Bake for 15-17 minutes, until done.
When done baking, pour all of the topping ingredients into a saucepan, stir and melt over medium heat.
Drizzle the sauce all over the top and down in the cracks of the biscuits; you may have to use a spatula to spread the pecans around.
Best served same day and warm.
