Each week throughout the Fall and Winter (and probably into springtime!) The Centsible Family will showcase a slow cooker (crock-pot) recipe that one of the Mavens of Money have tried and tasted. By sharing we hope you will be able to save a little time during the week as we all know saving time is just as valuable as saving money. And you will be able to enjoy a hot meal at the end of your day.
This week’s recipe is Cranberry Pork Chops by Sharon at Mom on Dealz. Prep time should be about 15 minutes and will cook for four to eight hours and yield about 8 servings.

- 4-5 boneless pork chops
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 1/2 cup of dried cranberries
- 1 Granny Smith apple chopped (optional)
- 1 cup cranberry juice
- 1 teaspoon of salt and pepper
- 1 small onion chopped
Directions:
Put everything in the crockpot and cooked it on high for 4 hours or low for 8. Serve chops with rice and use access liquid as gravy.
