I have 2 little ones that are more than a little obsessed with TruMoo and request it pretty much on a daily basis. I like to find new ways to use it and since it’s been pretty hot outside frozen treats are the most requested treat. Luckily TruMoo translates perfectly into a frozen snack that keeps my kids happy. I turned it into a family favorite by combining it with another popular treat- S’mores. TruMoo is a brand we love to purchase and drink in our house- it’s brought to you by your local dairy, and contains no high-fructose corn syrup and no artificial growth hormones. It’s a nutritious treat on its own or a delicious base for your summer smoothies and popsicles! After a long day playing outside, building fairy houses, swimming, playing ball… and doing whatever else… a s’mores popsicle is a perfect treat to cool off!
S’mores Popsicles
The best part of this is that there isn’t a traditional recipe, and it is a very hands on activity for the kids- let them make their own creation and then enjoy devouring it!
Ingredients:
mini chocolate chips
mini marshmallows
graham crackers
small paper cups
sticks
Directions:
Crush graham crackers into large, bite sized pieces and set on a plate with marshmallows, and chocolate chips.
Let the kids put whatever they want into the cup, I wouldn’t fill more than half so there is still room for TruMoo.
Fill cup to the top with TruMoo chocolate milk.
Place popsicle sticks in center of pop, if your child skipped marshmallows (which are great for holding sticks straight) either freeze for awhile and slide a stick in or tape it in place across the top until frozen if you don’t want to worry about coming back later.
Freeze until solid, pop out of cups and enjoy!
