We’ve been doing a lot of baking and cooking since the coronavirus shut down began. I know that many things are opened back up, but for the most part, we’re still home. It’s where we’re comfortable and it works for us. We picked up some candy bars to make these cookies- but usually we make cookies like these when we’ve got leftovers from Halloween, Easter, or a party to use up! My husband is a lifelong chocolate chip cookie guy. We have a lot of fun teasing him because he gets very resistant to any modifications or changes to the basic chocolate chip cookie…but then he never seems to avoid eating our creations. I think the basic is just his “first” cookie love. But the ooey and gooey in Snickers bars really just make these cookies extra yummy and we love them! We’ve also done Snickers Brownies but some of our other fun cookie recipes on the blog include these sweet and salty cookies, brownie cookies and brownie cookie bars!
