Last week I was asked to be a panelist at The Home Depot Do-It-Herself Workshop Twitter Party. I love the idea of DIY workshops for women, and hope to attend one in the very near future. I became a DIY girl kind of by default when we bought our first house and now I find I actually enjoy doing things myself more and more! I hope you’ll join us May 2nd from 8-9 pm EST to talk about the next Do-It-Herself workshop coming up, Inspired by Pinterest: Succulent Gardens.
Experienced Home Depot associates teach these workshops, which offer step-by-step instructions for completing the project and hands-on demonstration. You can sign up at your local store or online at www.homedepotclinics.com. Have you gone to one? How did you like it?
The clinic on ceramic tile covers how to prepare the surface, install cement backerboard, lay out and set the tiles, and apply grout. Women learn how to stay cool while also saving money on home cooling in the clinic on ceiling fan installation. The faux painting clinic teaches participants how to enhance the look of a room with the latest decorative painting techniques. The workshops cover all of these topics and more.
